PLANNED ITINERARY

FRIDAY
Having departed London at 06.30, we travel down to Dover where we take the ferry across to France. Then it's on to Paris and to our hotel. The rooms are twin or double share (subject to availability), all offer TV and are en suite. Breakfast is also included.

SATURDAY
After breakfast we make our way into the city centre for a city tour. Our tour will cover all the major landmarks associated with Paris. We will travel alongside the Louvre and make our way up the Champs Elysess. Having navigated our way around the Arc De Triomphe we will stop at the Eiffel Tower. Eventually we will make our way to Place de la Concorde, this is our drop off point.

Armed with a map you are free to continue the sights and explore Paris on your own. No visit to Paris would be complete without taking in the view from the Eiffel Tower. Maybe check out some of the museums... the Louvre, the De Orsay or the Rodin. For those who have been to Paris before, maybe consider visiting La Defense area with it's 'modern' arch. There is the Lachaise Cemetery, the last resting spot of Jim Morrison, Oscar Wilde and Edith Piaf.

Late afternoon we are transferred to our hotel with time to relax before setting off on our night tour of Paris. You can wine and dine at a local restaurant before we visit the Montmartre area. Here you can visit the magnificent Sacre Coeur Cathedral, have your portrait painted or go in search of a masterpiece in the 'artist square', or just soak up the views from the Cathedral steps

SUNDAY
After breakfast we make our way out to Versailles, here you have the morning to visit the impressive Palace of Versailles with its State Apartments and famous 'mirrored' ballroom. Ensure you allow enough time so you can wander around the formal gardens.

We return to Paris early afternoon in time to collect those who stayed behind in the city, then it is off to the Port of Calais and our return ferry to England. Once we have cleared customs and immigration we make our way to London aiming to arrive no later than 22:00.
