Hogmanay in Edinburgh
FROM £299.00

New Year in Edinburgh, Hogmanay by night

One of the world's largest and most exciting New Year parties takes place in Edinburgh. Without a doubt this is the only place to see in the New Year!

Entertainment is provided throughout the city centre with international street performers, rock music, Celtic bands, Latin Music, open air concert, thrilling fun fair, torch light procession, outdoor skating rink, and a massive fireworks display

In times past the Scots worked over the Christmas period therefore their first major holiday of the year was that of which took place on January 1st. The tradition of Hogmanay became more important than the Christmas holiday. Both the 1st and 2nd of January are public holidays in Scotland.
