SATURDAY
We depart London at 08.00 and make our way to Chepstow. Here you can visit the famous castle that has for centuries guarded the border between England and Wales. Time to enjoy a pub lunch before we make our way to Tintern Abbey, described by many as "the most beautiful ruins in the UK". We travel on to the "Big Pit" Coal Mine (free) here you have the opportunity to discover what life was like for coal miners as you take a tour down underground. Finally onto our hotel with time to settle in and relax at the bar or venture out for the evening.
SUNDAY
We leave Swansea behind today and travel inland via the Brecon Beacon region. Enjoy a break for lunch in the town of Hay on Wye, famous for its second hand book shops. In the afternoon we go to the riding stables. After a brief introduction to horse riding you are taken out on your trek into the Black Mountains. We return to Swansea for the evening.
MONDAY
A lazy morning, relax and enjoy a swim after breakfast as we depart the hotel mid morning. You have the rest of the day in Cardiff to enjoy the sights and attractions. A chance to visit the Castle and nearby Millennium Stadium or take in the shopping on offer. We head away late afternoon to start our return journey to London.

What to bring: Please ensure you have suitable warm clothing and footwear for horse riding. Clients MUST WEAR shoes or boots with a low heel that cannot slip through the stirrups. NO TRAINERS will be permitted. You should also have a waterproof jacket with you and a change of clothes. Hard hats and vests are provided. As the hotel has a swimming pool you are advised to bring you swimming gear and clothing suitable for the sports centre. If planning to go out at night remember many clubs and pubs operate a dress code.
Age Restrictions: Riding is only available to those aged between 12yrs and 60yrs.
Departure: We depart at 08:00 from Bressenden Place and aim to be back in London no later than 20:00.
Itinerary Changes: Please note that the published itinerary may operate in reverse. Some tours will go horse riding on Saturday and visit Chepstow and Cardiff on Sunday or visa versa.
Payment: A £20:00 pp non refundable nor transferable deposit will secure your booking with the balance payable 14 days before departure.
Accommodation: All rooms are ensuite twin or doubles with colour t.v., pay movies, tea and coffee making facilities. As some of the hotels have a swimming pool and sauna you are advised to bring your swimming gear (hotels may make a small charge). Those travelling on their own will be allocated a twin room to share with another single traveller of the same sex.
Please note: If you weigh over 100kg (16 stone) please check with us before booking. You do not require any experience or fitness qualifications to take part. This activity is not suitable if you are allergic to horses!

All our trips* depart from Bressenden Place, which is a few minutes walk from Victoria Underground Station. All day trips depart at 9am unless otherwise stated.
*Times and departure points for London Walks are displayed on the walks pages of this website. They DO NOT depart from Bressenden Place at 9am.
*Weekend departure times vary and it is your responsibility to check the departure time for your trip, which is published on our website. Tracks cannot be held responsible for missed departures due to late arrival.
Online Discounts:
These only apply to tours booked and paid for online, they are not available over the telephone or by any other means of payment. They are for a limited period and limited number of seats. The offer can be withdrawn at any time.
To take up the offer you must always write the discounted price on the booking form. Failure to do so will result in full payment being taken.
Double Booking Special:
Our double booking special offer will save you £2 on the price of your second day trip. To take advantage of the offer, you need only complete one booking form. In the comments box at the bottom of the page you need to provide details of the second day trip you wish to book. Discount only applies when ONE PERSON is travelling on TWO DIFFERENT departures, NOT to two people travelling on the same departure.
General Booking Conditions:
All Day Trips: Once booked and paid for are non refundable nor transferable under any circumstances.
Weekend and Short Breaks: 50% cancellation charges if cancelled before 14 days of travel, if cancelled less than 14 days 100% cancellation charges. Transfers on weekend tours can be made up to 14 days prior to departure, subject to availability. A transfer fee of £20 per person will be charged.
Tracks cannot be held responsible for any costs, incurred due to the late arrival or departure of the coach.
Those booked on our weekend and short break tours are required to have travel insurance to cover them throughout the tour.
We reserve the right to alter the itineraries as required. On the rare occasion when we have insufficient numbers we reserve the right to withdraw the tour. All clients will be notified in advance and offered an alternative tour or full refund.
Those travelling on tours outside the United Kingdom are required to travel with their passports and any necessary visa. The issue of a travel visa is the sole responsibility of the client.
Complaints
Should you have a complaint during the tour, contact your tour manager and they will do their best to rectify your problem. If we cannot resolve your complaint at the time, you should make your complaint in writing and send it to us at Tracks Travel Limited, The Flots, Brookland, Romney Marsh, Kent, TN29 9TG, within 21 days of the end of the tour. We will be unable to deal with any complaints unless we receive details in writing in that time period.
