PLANNED ITINERARY

FRIDAY
We depart London at 17:00 and travel up to the port of Harwich. Here we board the Stena line ferry for the overnight journey to the Netherlands. Relax and enjoy a drink in the bar or perhaps try one of the on board restaurants (not included in the price). You'll have overnight accommodation in shared cabins (2/4 berth).

SATURDAY
The day starts with a full breakfast (included in price) on board the ferry. We are due to arrive in the Netherlands at 07:30, once we have cleared the docks it is a little over an hours drive to Amsterdam. You have the full day to enjoy the sights and attractions of Amsterdam.

Art lovers have the Rijks Museum (€9.00) and Van Gogh Museum (€9.00) to visit. Anne Franks House (€6.50) demonstrates what life was like for so many Jews under Nazi rule during World War II and is well worth visiting.

Amsterdam is the diamond capital of the world and there are numerous show rooms open to visitors. You will find excellent shopping in the city centre and numerous bars and restaurants to relax in.

This evening we meet together for an optional visit to the Red Light District. You have the option of attending a Sex Show (€30.00). If this does not interest you, there is plenty more nightlife on offer. Your Tour Manager will advise you on what to do, where to go and what to see.

SUNDAY
The morning is free in Amsterdam, time for last minute sightseeing. One of the best ways to take in the sights of Amsterdam is by canal cruise. Opposite the canal cruise is the Heineken local Brewery (€10), well worth a visit, you can take a tour around the museum complex which ends with a tasting session. Nearby is a local street market and chance for last minute shopping. We depart Amsterdam at about 13.00 and travel back through Belgium making a brief stop in Brugge and then onto our ferry from Calais to Dover.

We then make our way to London aiming to be back no later than 22.30
